"A Confidential, Discrete, and Effective Process"
K9 University's private detection service is done by licensed, bonded personnel with our certified canines; we will discretely search the required location, find the substance if present, and provide positive identification.
How to proceed and how it works varies with the type of locale our dogs will be searching.
School System
After having our initial phone discussion, we will schedule a meeting with you and the proper members of your school administration, so that we may discuss a plan, and a suitable schedule. It is important that we discuss and understand the contraband of search interest (drugs, guns).
Once a written strategy is identified, we will execute to the proposed plan. We prefer a single contact to work with our searches, and prefer that it be kept confidential. Consistent, random, often, and confidential search visits work best in detecting, finding, and deterring abusers.
We will arrive at the school grounds after announcing it to our contact, and proceed to follow the agreed plan. Some schools prefer to have a school employee present when performing the searches. Our Canine Detection Handler will start the search with our Detection Dog and go from area to area, until the full day's plan has been executed. If the dog picks up a scent, it will alert, and our handler will mark the spot.
When our K9 University detection dog locates contraband (or a gun), we will help identify it. It is important to understand that a well trained detection dog will also detect on residual scent (if it was recently moved).
We will NOT take drugs or guns found, as it is illegal for for us to do so. We will seal it in an envelope that will be given to the school for disposal or action.
Commercial Locations

Residential Locations
After having our initial phone discussion, we will schedule a home visit when you've arranged to be home by yourself. We will search the premises when the suspected drug user is not present. This ensures that we have the ability to search without conflict. It will also reduce future family stress, since it maintains 100% discretion.
Our Canine Detection Handler will start the search with our Detection Dog and go from room to room through the entire locale or vehicle. If the dog picks up a scent, it will alert, and our handler will mark the spot.

We will then also provide a packet with drug help information that you can follow. This is a resource guide that will help you get the help required for your family.
We will NOT take drugs or guns found, as it is illegal for for us to do so. We will seal it in an envelope that will be given to you for disposal. Clear instructions will be left with you as to how to properly dispose of the matter.
If your search needs requires a people search or pet tracking, it is critical that we start as soon as possible, since tracks cool down, and the opportunity for a successful find diminishes drastically the longer you wait. Preservation of the search area is very important. Please call the number below to urgently engage us, and to receive critical phone coaching on how to properly preserve the area of search origin.
